Ahart Cemetery - To get to this cemetery follow the directions to Airhardt Cemetery. This cemetery lies down the hill, about .5 miles, from the Airhardt Cemetery.

Ahart Family Cemetery - From St. Anthony, their welcome sign. Go north on Hwy A for 5.5 miles. Turn right onto Hodge road and go 1.1 miles to the end of the road. There is a trailer home and the cemetery winds around the north side of the trailer and in the field near a fence and some junk cars. From Tuscumbia go to Hwy A and turn left. Go until you come to PP and from PP continue on A for another 1.8 miles to Hodge Road (the rest of the directions apply from above).

Airhardt Cemetery - From St. Anthony (their welcome sign) so south on Hwy A for 4.1 miles and turn right going across a cattle guard (there is an old and large saw to the left of the cattle crossing). Go .4 miles to a red barn and to the right is the single tombstone.

Albertson Cemetery - Take highway 42 at the junction of 54 & 42 in Osage Beach and proceed toward Brumley, MO. Just before you get into Brumley there is a road off to the right, Swinging Bridges Road, and you will turn into it. You will proceed down this road and cross the first swinging bridge over Mill Creek. Continue across the second swinging bridge, which goes over Grand Auglaise. After you get off the second bridge proceed .5 miles and stop. There is a faint road leading off to the right, which was the old road to the Lacus Lodge, which no longer exists. Walk up the old road for 237 feet. Look to the left and you will see the single stone approximately 30 feet into the woods.

Alder Springs Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 26, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 42 going east of Iberia, and go 2.4˝ miles to Hwy BB. Turn right onto BB and go 3.8 miles to Alder Springs Road. Turn left onto this road and go .6 miles. At this point you will find a well-used lane turn in there to the right. Go .2 miles to a gate and go through the gate and continue another .1 mile to the cemetery.

Atkisson Cemetery - Glaize Township; Section 3, Township 39 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. At the junctions of 54 & 42, in Osage Beach, take highway 42 to D road. Go 1.6 miles to Oak Bend Road and turn right. Go 2.15 miles to Blackmer Road and go right. Go 1 mile to the access to the cemetery. Before you complete this last mile you will pass a road to the left and it is next to a house that has rock on the bottom portion. Continue on around the corner and start up the hill. When you get to the 1-mile distance there will be a single culvert on the left side of the road you need to stop here. Get out of the vehicle and climb the small hill, on the left side. When you reach the top, approximately 100 yards, it will flatten out and the cemetery is easily seen off to the left.

Atwell Cemetery - From Iberia city limits sign go 3.5 miles to Junction K. Turn left on K and go 4.9 miles to Eagles Nest and turn left. Go .1 mile and turn right and go .2 mile to cemetery. You can see the cemetery from the road.

Ballard Cemetery - From Eldon take Hwy M to Hwy 54. Go north for 5.5 miles to Etterville, Mo. Turn right at Hwy MM and go .1 mile and make another right turn onto Storage Road. After making this second right turn the road goes off to an immediate left, but stay to the right on Storage Road. Go .1 mile to the second house on the left, a white house with black shutters, and this is the place of the single cemetery. The stone was originally found under the porch of the home of Betty Webb. When she started to remodel the back porch area she found the tombstone. She had the tombstone moved to the left side of the property up against the fence, lain in a pile of bricks and blocks.

Bear Cemetery - Equality Township: Section 13, Township 40 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. Go to Tuscumbia and take 52 -17 highway across the River Bridge. Go to the first left hand road, which is highway 52 and take it. Go to the first right hand road, which is Bear School Road, and turn right. Go .3 miles until you come to a gate on the right side of the road and turn there. You will cross a private bridge and wind around to a brick home. The cemetery lies in front of the house and easily seen. Go approximately .2 miles across a valley and up a hill to this fenced cemetery. This is also known as the Hackney Cemetery.

Belk Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 8, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From junctions 42 & 17 in Iberia, go east for 1.5 miles to Rabbit Head Road. Turn left and go 1.4 miles to Rabbit Head School Road. Turn right and go 1 mile to the end of the road. There you will see a large gate and the cemetery lies beyond this gate in a field heading to the left. You can see a few stones from the gate. There is a well-worn route to help find the cemetery. The cemetery is fenced, but not well tended. It was originally called the Schubert Cemetery.

Bievans Cemetery - From junctions 42 & 17 in Iberia, take Hwy 17 south to Charcoal Kiln road and turn left. Go to Pear Orchard and turn left. Go .5 miles to the cemetery on the right. This cemetery is in a field, surrounded by stately trees, enclosed with broken concrete blocks.

Billingsley Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 32, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. Property owned by Steve Perkins. Take E. Main in Iberia and from the City Hall go east for 1.8 miles, turn left just past a white house turning into a field, and go .7 mile to the cemetery, which lies across the field.

Bilyeu Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 26, Township 40, Range 13 Miller County, MO. The Bilyeu Cemetery is located on state road A between Hwy's 17 & 42. From Eldon you take Hwy 52 to Hwy 17 and take it across the Osage River. Stay on 17 until you come to Hwy A and turn left. Stay on A until you come to state road PP and turn left. As soon as you get on PP there is a gated lane a few hundred feet off of A and you turn there to the left.

Bilyeu II Cemetery - This is a family cemetery. Take Hwy 52 to Hwy 17 at Tuscumbia and continue on Hwy 17 until you pass C Hwy and come to Hendley's Feed Store. Just past the feed store turn left onto Sequoia Road. Stay on it until you come to Humphrey Creek Road and turn right. Go to the first house on left side of the road at the top of the hill (white house, black shutters). The cemetery is back up behind the barn, north of the house about .2 mile.

Blue Springs Baptist Cemetery - Franklin Township: Section 26, Township 41, Range 16 West Miller County, MO. From Hwy 52 take Hwy Y for 3.0 miles. Turn left on Rte Z and go 1.6 miles to the Blue Springs Baptist Church, on the right. This grave is located in the circle driveway in from of the church.

Boan Family Cemetery - This cemetery is located on the old Waite property near the old Eldon Rock Quarry. In Eldon take Grand Avenue to 14th street and turn right, which turns into gravel. Continue down the gravel in a westerly direction past the Eldon city limits and the old Rock Quarry to the first house on the left side of the road. The cemetery is located east of the house. It lies north of a power pole and at the south of Eldon's cable TV tower.

Boltz Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 1, Township 39 North, Range 15 West Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 42 to Bear Creek Rd. Go 2.3 miles and turn right on Bluesky Drive and take the next road on the left that looks like a driveway to the earth contact home turn there and go .2 miles to the cemetery.

Brandt Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 15, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From the intersections of highways 54 and 42 take highway 42 to D road, approximately .2 miles through the detour. Go down D road for 5.05 miles. There is a small parking area on the left and this is where you will turn in. Just to make sure that you are at the right place there is a double metal gate that is locked on the left side of the road.

Brays (Old) Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 9, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia on Hwy 42 go 4.0 miles and turn left on Bray's Mill Rd. Go .2 miles and turn right. Go .1 mile to cemetery.

Brays Union Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 07) Richwood Township: Section 16, Township 39 North, Range12 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia take Hwy 42 East, go 3.3 miles to Bray's Church Rd. Turn right, go .5 miles to the cemetery.

Brown Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 6, Township 38 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From junctions 42 & 17 in Iberia, take Hwy 17 south and go 1.6 miles and turn left onto Charcoal Kiln Road. Continue on this road for another 1.4 miles. At this point you will find two large gates and to the right of these gates, and easily seen from the road, is a clump of trees with concrete blocks around them.

Brumley Family Cemetery - From Tuscumbia take Hwy 17 towards Iberia. When you come to Hendley's Farm Supply you turn in to their property, on the right. This cemetery is located behind their feed store.

Burlingame Cemetery - (better know as the Hicks Cemetery) From St. Anthony (their welcome sign) continue north on Hwy A, just a little way, until you come to the Herbert Otto farm, on the left. Go up the hill and continue on around until you come to the last house. Mr. Otto wants you to let him know that you are going to the cemetery. You can see the cemetery from Mr. Otto's yard. The cemetery is tended and fenced. According to Mr. Otto the cemetery was originally called the Burlingame Cemetery for it was listed that way on his abstract.

Camp Vaughn Cemetery - From Junctions 54 & 52, at El-Rancho, go east 2.6 miles to Poplar Rd., turn right, go 1.5 miles to Allen Rd., turn right, go 1 mile to cemetery (on left).

Capps Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 1, Township 40 North, Range 13 West Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 17 across the bridge going toward Iberia. Turn left on Hwy 52 toward St. Elizabeth, go 8.6 miles and turn left on Whalen Creek Rd., go .1 mile and turn left at the Capps Cemetery sign, go .1 mile to the cemetery. Peggy (Hake) Smith told me that this was once called the Piles Cemetery it is also known as the Hanging Rock Cemetery.

Carlton Cemetery - This cemetery was originally listed as the Garlton Cemetery, but a relative informed me that it is the Carlton Cemetery. The stones are often hard to read and mistaking a C for a G is typical.From junctions 54 & 42 take Hwy 42 to the 133 turn off, to the right. Continue on Hwy 133 until you come to the riding stables, to the left. At the riding stables you have to walk down a path for approximately 1 mile. The cemetery is to the right and located in a grove of cedar trees.

Caroll-Hickman Cemetery - Take Hwy 54 to Lake of the Ozarks. At the exit to the Bagnell Dam turn off, you turn to the left on Osage Hills Road. Continue on Osage Hills Road until you pass the Club House and turn on Sanders Road going left. Go .2 miles to the next Sanders Road turning to the right and go 1 mile. Look right to the first cemetery, which is the Sanders Cemetery and go on .1 mile and looking to the left for the Carroll-Hickman Cemetery. This cemetery is on a one-way road and difficult to find.

Challes Family Cemetery - Equality Township: Section 13, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO From the junctions of 54 and 52, at El-Rancho, go toward Tuscumbia for approximately 4.5 miles to Hall Store Road and turn right. Go 1.6 miles to Brockman Springs Road and turn right. Go 1 mile and there is a house on the right; you will turn into their driveway. Staying on their driveway go .1 mile and this takes you to a point at the end of the garage. At the garage turn left and continue southerly for .1 mile past a barn and a big silo both on the right. When you get to the 1 mile you will have to get out of your car and walk.

Charleytown Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 30) Take E out of St. Elizabeth and go 3.1 miles. Just before the road makes a Y and to the left lies the cemetery. It is fenced, but not tended. St. Elizabeth was once called Charleytown.

Clark-Boyd - This was originally named the Clark Cemetery. I do not know who changed the name. From Eldon take Hwy 52 and go to Tuscumbia and there take Hwy 17. Stay on Hwy 17 until you come to Hwy A and turn left. Stay on Hwy A until you come to the Pioneer road and turn left. Stay on Pioneer road until you come to the first left, which is a few hundred feet, and turn there. Just as you turn there is a large field and on top of this hill is the small cemetery. It lies to the left of the house and on top of the hill among a cluster of trees.

Clark-McGriff Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 20, Township 40 North, Range 12 West Miller County, MO. As early as 1934 this was known as the Clark Cemetery. The Clarks sold it to McGriff and that name was tacked on. From Eldon take Hwy 52 to Tuscumbia and turn right on Hwy 17. Stay on Hwy 17 for 4.7 miles until you come to Hwy A and turn left. Stay on Hwy A for 8.2 miles until you come to Clark School Road and turn left. Go .3 miles to a driveway on the left, which goes to the residence of Wm. Hodge. This is a long driveway and it is on private property. Go .6 miles down the driveway and just before you reach the house there is a winding partially graveled path that veers off to the left and goes in front of their house.

Colburn Cemetery - Saline Township; Section 6, Township 42 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From Eldon take Hwy CC 4.3 miles to Hwy OO. Turn left here and go .9 miles and turn right onto Manning Road. Go past the Manning Family Cemetery .1 mile to Foxberry Road and turn right. Go .7 miles crossing two low water bridges and when you come to a sharp left turn. Here you will find a private drive that goes up to a house, which is noted by a Quonset Hut. The cemetery is due west of the house, across a field approximately .1-˝ tenths mile. The cemetery is about midway between the house and the road, which runs north and marks the Morgan County-Miller County line.

Colvin Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 3, Township 39 North, Range 15 West Miller County, MO. From Osage Beach take Hwy's 42 & 134 to Blueridge Road and turn left. Go 1.3 miles to 42-4A and turn right. Follow this road .1 mile and turn left. Go .2 miles to the cemetery. You have listed 2 Colvin Cemeteries. I only show one on the Roots Web Site. Will need to check on the second to see if it goes by another name.

Curry Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 02) From Iberia take Hwy EE and go 6.9 miles and turn right on Curry Rd. Go .8 mile and turn right on Old Curry School Rd. The cemetery is easy to see and is well kept.

Dake Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 3, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From junctions 42 & 17 in Iberia, go east on 42 for 5 miles to Hwy A. Turn left onto Hwy A and go 1.4 miles to Boeckman Bridge Road. Turn right onto Boeckman Bridge goad and go 1.4 ˝ miles to Sunset Ln. and turn right. Go .9 miles to Magnolia Drive and turn right. Go .2 miles to the cemetery.

Deen Cemetery - was originally called the Deen Cemetery, but was changed when bought by the new owners Allee and Martin. From Iberia take Hwy EE and go 6.9 miles to the Curry Road on the right. Take Curry Road and go .4 miles to a large metal gate, on the property of the Red Rock Ranch. Looking to the north and across the pasture you will see a clump of trees.

Denny Cemetery - From Eldon take Hwy CC to Green Ridge Road and turn to the right. Go .2 ˝ to Abbot Road and turn left. Go .9 miles and you will be where the road will make a sharp curve to the right however, you will be facing a gate in front of you and a gate to the left and the gate to the left leads to the cemetery. You take that trail for .3 miles to the cemetery. The cemetery is located on the left side and pretty easy to see.

Dobson Cemetery - From Tuscumbia take Hwy 17 across the bridge and to the next state road to the right (Hwy F). Go 1.6 miles on Hwy F (it lies 1/4 mile off the blacktop) to the cemetery.

Duncan Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 36, Township 40 North, Range 12 West Miller County, MO. Go east on Hwy 42 from Iberia, go 7.9 miles to Maries County Rd. 225, turn left, go 1.9 miles (road curves to the right) to White School Rd., as soon as you turn right on White School Rd. there is a orange gate on the right corner, go through the gate & go .2 mile to the cemetery. This one is identified on the map…just want to make sure it is the correct location.

Duncan - Shelton Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 14, Township 38 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO From Iberia take Hwy EE and go 3.8 miles to Bluestem Road. Turn left and go 1.7 miles to Prairie Road. Turn left onto Prairie Road and go .5 miles. This brings you to a driveway, on the right, and turn into a private drive. Follow the drive past the first house and go .5 miles to the last house. Continue past the house, going down a field and to the right and go .2 miles to the cemetery.

Dwyer Cemetery - Take Hwy 42 out of Iberia, going east 5 miles to Hwy A. Take A and go 1.4 miles to Boeckman Bridge Road. Turn right onto this road and go 1.7 miles to the cemetery. As you go down the hill and before you complete the turn if you look off to the right you will see this single stone up the bank and behind the fence.

Dyer Cemetery - This cemetery is adjoining the Iberia Cemetery. From the east wall of the Iberia Cemetery you will find an old crossing that looks like a cattle guard. Walk across the guard and follow the winding path holding to the left for approximately 200 feet.

Edward Cemetery - Take Hwy 52 at El Rancho Jct. and to 17 Jct. at Tuscumbia. Continue on Hwy 17 crossing the Osage River Bridge and take the first road to the left, which is Hwy 52. Go to the 2nd gravel road turning left. Continue a way until you see a large silver silo and the cemetery is in the middle of a large field to the East of the house and silo.

Embry Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 13, Township 39 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From highways 54 & 42 at Osage Beach, take highway 42 toward Brumley, MO. Proceed down highway 42 until you come to Bear Creek Road and turn in to the left. Go .4 miles to a white house on the right and pull in their driveway. The cemetery is north, or right, of the house and easily seen.

Gott Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 08) Glaize Township: Section 16, Township 39 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO.Take Hwy 42 at 54 Jct. in Osage Beach, going toward Brumley, MO. At Brumley take Hwy C, going north towards Ulman, going 3 miles to the cemetery, which is on the right.

Greenridge Cemetery -

Groves Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 15, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia's junction of 42 and 17, take Hwy 42 for 3.3 miles east to Brays Church Road on the right. Turn right and go 1.6 miles to a long lane leading to the left, this is private property. Turn in to the left and go up his lane .4 miles to the cemetery. The cemetery is at the top of this drive and the lone stone is by his dog pen.

Harbison Cemetery - Saline Township: Section 15, Township 41 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. From junctions of 54 & M, at Eldon, take Hwy M and go 6.1 miles (you will run out of blacktop and onto gravel). Turn into a parking area surrounded by rocks on the left side of the road. Walk across the road and going east climb up the hill, making sure to keep a small grove of trees to your left. At the top of this hill you will find the cemetery.

Hickory Point - Cemetery Richwood Township: Section 8, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. Go 5 miles west of Iberia on Hwy 17 to Jct. KK, turn left on KK and go 2 miles to the cemetery. The cemetery is easily seen and on the right.

Hopewell Cemetery - Take Hwy 17 towards Iberia. When you come to the Miller County Care Center you will turn left onto Mt. Zion Road. Go 1.5 miles past the Mt. Zion Cemetery and just before you reach a red turkey barn, on the right, there is a small lane off to the left, which leads to the cemetery.

Iberia Cemetery -

Jackson Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 3, Township 39 North, Range 14 West Miller County, MO. This cemetery is 4.2 miles from north on Hwy C from junctions 42 & C in Brumley, MO. It is also 1.2 miles north of the Gott Cemetery. This cemetery is fenced and well tended.

Jarrett Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 2, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From Jct. 42 & 17 in Iberia go toward Tuscumbia for 2.4 miles to the Fairview Christian Church sign & turn right on Fairview Rd. Go 1.3 miles to the church & turn right, then turn left at Blueberry Rd. Go 1.3 miles following the road around (it looks like it is going to dead-end, but it doesn't) then take the first road to the left. Go about .2 miles to the cemetery.

Jeffries Family Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 22 Township 39 North Range 15 Miller County, MO. From the junction of highway's 54 & 42 in Osage Beach, take highway 42 toward Brumley. Go until you come to highway, 134, which goes to the right and turn there. Stay on highway 134 and go 2.25 miles. At this point you will be at the crest of a very high hill. There will be a parking area on the left side of the road and you will easily see an unimproved road leading north. Turn left into this parking area and follow the unimproved road for just a short distance, 552 feet, and you will be at the cemetery.

Jesse Hawkins Cemetery - (this was originally known as the Smith Cemetery in 1833)From the junctions of 54 & 52, at El-Rancho Travel Center, go 9.5 miles to Jct. 17 and continue on 17 for 1.1 mile. Turn left at a sign that says Saline Valley Conservation. The cemetery is .1 and to the left up a small incline.

Jim Henry Cemetery - (now called the Rush Chapel Cemetery)Take Hwy 17 to Jim Henry Rd., go 1.8 miles. Cemetery is on the left side of the road. If you come in from Mary's Home, turn on Jim Henry Rd. and go 2 miles. Cemetery is on the right side of the road.

King Family Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 11, Township 40 North, Range 13 West Miller County, MO. From junctions 54 and 52, at El-Rancho Travel Center, take hwy 52 to Tuscumbia. When you get to hwy 52 and 17 go right across the Osage River Bridge. Once across the bridge hwy 52 will take off to the left. Stay on hwy 52 until you get to Capps, once known as Blow Hard. Just before you make the turn into Capps (approx. 8 miles) there is a road to the right, Humphrey's Creek Road and you turn there. Continue down this road until you get to a sharp left turn, with a drive that goes straight and take the driveway. Follow it around until you come to the house. From the house you have to walk, going west past the pond and 100 to 200 feet up the hill.

Kinworthy Family Cemetery - From Iberia take Hwy 42 east about 5 miles to Hwy A. Take Hwy A and go 6.5 miles to Pioneer road, on the right. Turn on Pioneer and go .1˝ to the next left road, which is Brushy Creek Road. Take this road and go 1.9 miles to the home of Urban Voss, on the left. The cemetery is in their back yard.

Kissinger Cemetery - From Iberia take Hwy EE and go until it runs into Hwy U, about 7.7 miles. Go left on Hwy U for 4.6 miles to the Orval G. Keeth property on the right. This single grave lies above and to the left of his house and in a field.

Lake Memorial Garden - Franklin Township: Section 5, Township 39 North, Range 15 West,Miller County, Missouri. Take Hwy 42 at the Osage Beach junction of 54 & 42. Go down Hwy 42 about 4 miles to the cemetery, which is located on the left side of the highway, just past Meeks Lumber. Lane Cemetery From Tuscumbia take Hwy 17 towards Iberia. Just a little after Hwy C, on the right, you will come to Hendley's Farm Supply, on the left, and a road just past their business, which is Sequoia Road, turn left there. Continue on until you come to Humphrey's Creek Road, which makes a steep right, and turn there. Continue on to a low-water slab with a park area. Just past this slab, and to the left under a large tree in the midst of a field, lies this cemetery.

Leatherman Cemetery - From the junction of Hwy 54 & E in St. Elizabeth take Hwy 54 toward Meta. Go 1.9 miles & turn right on Singer Rd. Go .9 mile & turn right on a private road to the Jorgensmeyer farm. (You have to get a key from the owners at St. Elizabeth TV & Appliance because the gate is locked). Go through the gate and go .2 mile and through another gate. Go .2 mile and stop just before you go around another turn to the right. The cemetery is to the right.

Livingston Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 11) Richwood Township: Section 3, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From Tuscumbia, take Hwy 17-52 across the long bridge over the Osage River going toward Iberia. Go 10.4 miles till you come to Livingston Rd. and turn left on it. The cemetery is on the left side of the road right after you turn on the road. This cemetery was formally called the Livingston/Castleman Cemetery.

Madden Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 12, Township 38 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO From Iberia go east on Hwy 17 till you come to Bennett Rd. (just before you get to Jct. K), turn right on Bennett Rd. and go 1.2 miles (Bennett Rd. turns into Benton Rd.), you will come to an unmarked road on the right, turn on it and go .7 miles to the cemetery. The cemetery was once called the Knatzer or Knatser Cemetery.

Manning Family Cemetery - From Eldon take Hwy CC to OO and go left on OO. Go to Manning Road (1st road to the right) and turn right. Go .2˝ to the cemetery.

Marshal Family Cemetery - Saline Township; Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. This cemetery is now non-existent. I talked to the people who now own this property and they know nothing of a cemetery and they have been living there for nearly twenty years. This is the old directions: This cemetery is located east of Eldon. Go to Route M and take the first left hand road, Scrivner Road. Go down Scrivner Road and just before you would cross what was long ago the old railroad line you go right, into private property. There is a transmission line leading across the road and across an open field. At the second pole there is a small clump of trees. The small cemetery is located in the area of these trees.

Martin Family Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 2, Township 39 North, Range 14 West Miller County, MO. Go to Ulman, MO. and take County Side Rd. off of Rte. C. Go .2 mile to Howell Loop and turn right. Go .5 miles & stop. The cemetery is on left side of road just past an open field. You cannot see the cemetery from the road, but if you take off walking, going east, you will find it just as the woods begin.

McComb Family Cemetery - Franklin Township; Section 21, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. To get to this single grave go from Eldon south towards Lake of the Ozarks on highway 54. At the stoplight, at the access to Bagnell Dam and Y roads, the road also goes to the left, which is Osage Hills Road. Go down Osage Hills Road for 1.45 miles to Sanders Road. This cemetery is gone and is now covered by the golf course, etc. The record is taken from the Miller County Records. Research has thought this to be the McComb Family Cemetery.

McDonald Family Cemetery - Equality Township,Miller County, MO. From junctions of highways 52 and 17in Tuscumbia stay on highway 17 towards Eugene, MO. Go for 3.7 miles and turn left onto Saline Road. Go .9 miles to the cemetery, which is on the right and just before you cross a low water bridge. This monument is on the Conservation Commission property.

McDowell Family Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 21, Township 39 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From the junctions of highway 54 & 42 in Osage Beach take highway 42 toward Kaiser for 1.5 miles to 42-3 or Kaiser Road and turn right. Go 1.9 miles to a T and turn left onto Whispering Oaks Road (this will be blacktop). Go .15 miles to an old gate, which blocks a drive and this drive will take you to the cemetery. Proceed down the old trail past a couple of old building and across some flat ground. Go .7 miles and stop your vehicle, if you drove to the cemetery. The cemetery is on the right and 117 feet from the well-defined trail.

Moore Cemetery - Richwood Cemetery: Section 17, Township 38 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia take Hwy EE and go 6 miles to Rodeo Drive. Turn left and go .1 mile to a big house and just past their driveway, and on the right, lays the cemetery. It is grown up in brush and only one stone remains standing. This was formerly known as Smith Cemetery.

Morrow Cemetery - From Iberia take Hwy 42 north and go 2.4 ˝ miles until you come to Hwy BB. Turn right onto BB and go 5.7 miles and turn left on Kenser Creek Road. Go 1.6 miles and you will come to a mailbox and driveway on the right. The cemetery lies just past the driveway and across the road. This withered single tombstone is not too hard to find. It stands alone in a group of trees.

Mt. Union Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 2, Township 38 North, Range 14 West Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 42 at Hwy 54 & 42 junction. Go to Jct. U and turn right. Go 1.6 miles and turn on Mt. Union Church Road and go .8 miles to the cemetery.

Mt. Zion Cemetery (New) - Equality Township: Section 24, Township 40 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. New Mt. Zion Cemetery is located on the north side of the church, while the old is on the south side. On Hwy 52 from Tuscumbia take Hwy 17-52 and go across the bridge. When you come to the Miller County Nursing Home the Mt. Zion Church is directly across from the nursing home on the left.

Mt. Zion Cemetery (Old) - Equality Township: Section 24, Township 40 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. Old Mt. Zion, below the church. On Hwy 52 from Tuscumbia to Hwy 17, go across bridge. When you come to the Miller County Nursing home the Mt. Zion Church is on the left directly across from the nursing home.

Mulkey Cemetery - Saline Township; Section 26, Township 42 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. This is a single stone, which is on private property. From Eldon you go north toward Jefferson City. Before you get to the access road, which lets you onto the divided highway, you will see a small lane to the left, which is the next drive past Miller Road and north side of U S. Hwy 54. Go down this lane until you come to the long machine shed. The stone did stand in the middle of a pasture lying approximately 45 yards west of and between the long machine shed and the old shed just north of it. At one time there was noted evidence of other burials by broken stones. I talked to the owner and he told me that the stone was down and that approximately 10 years ago, being around 1992, some of the family members came down and when they saw the stone was down they took it with them. Although the stone is gone Mr. Mulkey and others are still buried on this property.

Musick Family Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 29, Township 41 North, Range 13 West Miller County, MO. From Tuscumbia take highways 17 and 52 cross the river bridge and continue around the first curve until you get to the exit for highway 52, which goes to the left and towards St. Elizabeth. Once on Highway 52 go approximately 2.6 miles and turn left on Twin Creek Road. Go 3.4 miles and you will be beside an old foundation on the right and you will want to park your vehicle here. Cross the fence and head in a southwesterly direction for about 690 feet up the hill until you get to the very top. The cemetery lies at the crest.

New Birdsong Cemetery - Take Highway 54 to Lake of the Ozarks. Turn right at the Bagnell Dam turnoff. Take Highway W (on the right) 1.8 miles to Cotten Road. Turn right on Cotten Road and go .1 miles to cemetery on left.This cemetery is no longer in use. This cemetery was moved from its original site in 1926.

New Hope Cemetery -

Nixdorf Cemetery - This cemetery is near the Junctions of Hwy 17 and Hwy C, between Tuscumbia and Iberia. At this junction and to the east there is a red garage and the cemetery lies south and beside the garage.

Oak View Church Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 9, Township 38 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. Take Hwy EE out of Iberia and go approximately 4.5 miles. There is an old church, which looks to be made of concrete blocks, on the left side of the road. According to first-hand knowledge of Mr. Lewis Wall there is a single infant buried behind the old Oak View Church. We have a story and photographs on our web site under Churches.

Pankey Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia go north 2.4 ˝ miles to Rte BB. Turn right onto BB and go 3.8 miles to Alder Spring Road. Take Alder Spring Road and go 2.5˝ miles until you come to the county road Mason Ln, on the left. The Pankey cemetery is across from this road and a sign on the fence indicates entrance the cemetery. Open the gate and drive through going .1 ˝ miles to the cemetery.

Phillips Family Cemetery - In Eldon take Grand Avenue to 14th street and turn right, which quickly turns into gravel. Go approximately .3 miles until you come to the radio station tower, on the right. This is on private property and you will have to walk from the road and possibly climb a fence because the gate is normally locked. The cemetery is approximately 300 yards behind the radio station tower. This is a brand new family cemetery.

Pine Family Cemetery - From Eldon take Hwy 52 to Hwy Y. Go .7 miles to cemetery. It is along the left side of the highway and easily seen. Only one burial listed.

Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 10, Township 38 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia take Hwy EE and go 3.8 miles to Bluestem Road. Turn left onto Bluestem Road and go .5 miles to the cemetery on the right.

Rankin-Wright Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 33, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia, take Hwy EE and go 2.6 miles to Cottonwood Rd. Turn right on Cottonwood Rd and go 1.2 miles and you will see a sign on the right side of the road that says Rankin-Wright Cemetery. Go through the gate, it is a long lane through a pasture, for about 3 or 4 tenths of a mile and the cemetery is on the right. This cemetery is in bad shape. The weeds are chest high, which makes it difficult to find the head stones. For some reason the other compilers called this the Spearman Cemetery.

Reed Cemetery - In Ulman, take County Side Rd. off of Rte. C, go .2 miles and turn right on Howell Loop, go 1.8 miles to a unmarked road that turns left, stop there, the cemetery is about 500 feet west of the T in the road. It is in a small stand of stately trees.

Roark Family Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 13 West Miller County, MO. From Tuscumbia take highway 17 south across the River Bridge. Shortly after the bridge you will come to the junction of highway 52 on the left. Turn onto highway 52 and go 7.2 miles. At this point on the left of you will be at an opening with wood on one side of the gate and metal on the other. There is also an old cultivator visible from the road. This gate is also just west of an earth home. To get to the cemetery you need to park your vehicle and walk northeasterly, toward the river, for approximately .1.5 miles to the cemetery. This cemetery is on private property on the old Clark place. This cemetery is unkempt and in poor condition. If you are coming out of St. Elizabeth the wooden/metal gate is 2.4 miles west of state road PP. Only 3 burials here.

Shelton Cemetery - Equality Township: Section 30, Township 40 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. From highways 54 & 42 at Osage Beach, turn on hwy 42 to D road. Go down D road for 1.6 miles to Oak Bend and turn right. Go 4.7 miles and you will come to a road on the right that has a big gate and a no trespassing/hunting signs (this is actually Fox Creek Road, but it does not have a road sign at this point. Go on down this road for 1 mile. You will cross a low water bridge and start up a big hill. When you get to the top of the hill you will find the junctions of Fox Creek Road, Fox Valley Road and Foxland Ranch. You will turn to the left and enter private property, which is Foxland Ranch. Go .1 mile to an old road sign, which says Lemon Street and 9th Street, but stay to the right on Lemon Street. Go .3 miles to a house and ask permission to go onto their property. The cemetery can be seen from their house lying directly across and in an open field. Take the road around the right side of the house and go .2 miles to a log cabin.

Shickett Cemetery - Saline Township; Section 9, Township 41 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. This cemetery is on private property. From Eldon's junctions 54 & M, Saline Road, take Route M and go 5.7 miles. Where the pavement ends and the gravel begin there is a road off to the left, which is Central Hills Road. Go up a long hill for 1.4 miles. You will pass an old concrete building that was once a church on the right. You will pass Ross Road on the right. You will pass a trailer on the left and a big green barn on the right. When you get to 1.4 miles STOP the vehicle and the cemetery is directly across from you, on the left among a small thicket of brush.

Smiths Cemetery - This was called the Smith Cemetery from the MO Death Records in 1883, but now some call it the Jesse Hawkins Cemetery. Equality Township: Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. From the junctions of 54 & 52, at El-Rancho Travel Center, go 9.5 miles to Jct. 17 and continue on 17, toward Eugene, for 1.1 mile. Turn left at a sign that says Saline Valley Conservation. The cemetery is .1 and to the left up a small incline.

St. Lawrence Cemetery - Jim Henry Township: Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From Tuscumbia take Hwy 17 & 52 across the river bridge and then take the next left (Hwy 52), which goes to St. Elizabeth (12.9 miles). Once you get into St. Elizabeth go to Hwy E, which is at the junction of the Bank of St. Elizabeth, and turn left. Go .1 mile to Vine Street and turn left again. Go less than one tenth and turn right into the lane for the cemetery. I believe this is the one you have identified as St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Stark Cemetery - From Tuscumbia take Hwy 17 and go towards Iberia. When you get to Hwy A turn left. Go 1 mile and you will come to Mt. Zion road, on the left. Take an almost immediate left into the next driveway just past Mt. Zion road. This is a private drive that winds around to the cemetery.

Sullivan Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 4, Township 39 North, Range 14 West Miller County, MO. From highway 42 at Osage Beach, go to Brumley, MO. Take Rte. C, North, to Rte. JJ. Go 1 mile down JJ; you will come to a gate on the right side of the road. The cemetery is about 50 yards to the right in a clump of trees.

Tallman Cemetery - From Iberia take Hwy 17 and turn left onto Charcoal Kiln Rd. Go .4 miles to Pear Orchard Rd. and turn left. Go .2 miles to cemetery on the right side of the road.

Thomas West Cemetery - This cemetery no longer exists. This is the information given from the Miller County records. William West came from Kentucky. According to Clyde Lee Jenkins, in 1807 William West was the first white man to settle in what later became Miller County. He built his log cabin on the Big Tavern creek, which is in the heart of an area inhabited by the Osage Indians. The spot of his home is where Highway 52, Northeast of St Elizabeth, now crosses the Big Tavern. William West and his wife moved from Miller County in 1811, but before leaving they had to bury their infant son, Thomas, beside the Big Tavern Creek. This is the only burial in this cemetery.

Walker Cemetery - Equality Township: Section 23, Township 41 North, Range 14 West, Miller County, MO. From junctions of highways 52 and 17in Tuscumbia stay on highway 17 towards Eugene, MO. Go for 3.7 miles and turn left onto Saline Road. Go .5 ˝ miles to Eugene Road heading north and right. Go .2 miles and stop your car. This cemetery is on private property and the owners would prefer that you ask before getting onto their property. From your car walk in a southwesterly direction, the left side of the road, across an open field for 360 feet. Only 2 burials recorded for this cemetery

Warren Cemetery - On Hwy 42 go to Rte C, take Rte C south for 1.7 miles, turn right on Rocky Top Ridge, go 1.2 miles turn left at the T, go .9 mile to cemetery. It is on the right side of the road. Whitaker Cemetery Richwood Township: Section 15, Township 39 North, Range 12 West, Miller County, MO. From Iberia take Hwy 42 east and go 4.1 miles to Camp Wilderness road. This single stone is located near the highway and to the east of a white house. When you turn onto this road pull parallel with the house and the stone will be almost directly in front of you in a clump of fruit trees. There is a single Civil War burial here

Wickham Cemetery - Osage Township: Section 18, Township 40 North, Range 12 West Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 52 to Jct. PP & turn right. Go to Streumph School Rd. and turn left. Go 1.2 mile and turn right. Go .55 mile to a steel gate and go through the gate. Go .1 mile & turn right. Go up a hill .1 mile to the cemetery.

Wilcox-Fitzgerald Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 15, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From the junctions of highways 54 and 42 in Osage Beach, take highway 42 to D Road. Go 1.6 miles to Oak Bend Road and turn right. Stay on Oak Bend until you come to the junction of Ridle road, and Oak Bend continues on with a sharp right turn. Stay on Oak Bend and go .3 miles to a private drive on the left. Go up this drive for .15 miles and stop. To the left is a path, which goes to the cemetery. I believe this is the one you have identified as Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Williams Cemetery - (UNKNOWN CEMETERY 06) - Richwood Township: Section 31, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. Take Hwy 42 west out of Iberia and go 6 miles to Spring Branch Road. There turn left and go .6 miles and turn right at the Pemberton mailbox, then turn right at their driveway and go .2 miles to their house

Wilson Cemetery - Take Hwy. 52 to Hwy.17 in Tuscumbia and continue on until you go past Hwy C and come to Hendley's Feed Store. The next road, to the left, is Sequoia Road and you will turn right on Sequoia Road. Go to 145 Sequoia Road. There are 3 Wilson Cemeteries, I believe this is the one you have identified.

Wilson II Cemetery - Glaize Township: Section 24, Township 40 North, Range 15 West, Miller County, MO. From the junctions of highways 54 and 42, in Osage Beach, take highway 42 to D Road. Go down D road to the junctions of Ridle Road and Oak Bend Road. At this point Oak Bend takes a sharp right, but stay on this road. Continue on down this road until you come to a metal bridge. Do not cross the bridge, but park the vehicle. The cemetery is on the left side of the road.

Wood Cemetery - Richwood Township: Section 33, Township 39 North, Range 13 West, Miller County, MO. From junction's 42 & 17 in Iberia, take Hwy 42 west 3.2 miles to Ambrose Road. Turn left onto Ambrose Road and go .5 to the driveway of James Hall. There is a single Civil War burial here.
