Simpson, Madison Perry and Sarah Elizabeth (Wright) Sarah Elizabeth (Wright) Simpson 1858-1893; dau. of James Lawrence Wright and Elizabeth (Mace) Thompson of Tuscumbia, MO; w. of Madison Perry Simpson 1846-1919; mother of Roscoe, Wilford, Laura and Charles Simpson; and Annie Olive and Lula Bell Simpson, who died before the age of two. Sarah died of consumption (tuberculosis) at the age of 35 and is buried with the Wright family in the Tuscumbia Cemetery. Her husband, "Perry" Simpson and all four of her children who lived to adulthood, are buried at Glover's Chapel Cemetery in Camden County. No photos of her mother, Elizabeth Thompson, are known to exist, but Sarah's image may give clues as to Elizabeth's likeness.
