Spalding, Thomas Jefferson and Katherine Elizabeth (Wright) Katherine Elizabeth (Wright) Hoffman-Spalding (1867-1952). "Aunt Kate" was first married to Jacob Peter Hoffman (1863-1890) and had one child, Stella (Hoffman) Gerber. After Jacob's death, Kate married Thomas Jefferson Spalding (1850-1935) in 1891. They were the parents of Hobart, Henry, Cliffie Jane, Eunice, Lena and Tirzah.
