Wright School, Miller County, MO. Wright School, Miller County, MO, 1904. Teacher, Otis Wright, sitting. The school, named for Otis's grandfather, James Lawrence Wright, was located near the confluence of the Big and Little Saline Creeks. U.S. Government Land "patents" required that parcels be set aside for public schools.
